Egg Drop

Ethan had to do a school project due today. You've probably heard of it. It's where Ethan has to build something that will go on or around or with a raw egg. Someone would take it and drop it off of the school roof. The goal is to not have the egg break. At first we tried cutting a nerf football in half, carving out a little spot for the egg, putting the egg inside, and then duct-taping the football back together again. We saw this on a YouTube video and theirs worked perfectly. Well, ours broke on the first try. Then Ali and Becca came up with a great idea. They put the egg inside of a small tupperware container. The egg was surrounded by Styrofoam. They then suspended the container inside of an empty box with rubber bands on each side. The container barely moved, but the rubber bands were absorbing all of the shock. Ethan came home and said it worked perfectly. Good job E-man and moms.
