Krista dancing at the Dance Festival at Cherry Hill Elementary.  This was her first time doing this, but I think that she had a good time.  I'm sure you can find her, but she is wearing a pink shirt and jean shorts. She has loved Kindergarten.

That Really Does Matter

Alex learned this poem in preschool.  I love the actions he does with it.  It was cute to see him perform it with his classmates at his preschool graduation.

Marriage

Ali was holding Alex on her lap tonight while sitting in the living room. Alex looked up at our bookshelf and saw a picture of Ali and I on our wedding day. "Who's that guy!?" Alex said. Ali brought down the picture and showed it to Alex. "That's me and daddy when we got married", Ali told him. "Oh!", he said, "well I want to marry French Toast Sticks."

He had just had french toast sticks to eat, so tomorrow he'll probably want to marry Apple Jacks. What a cute kid.

2009 Boyz-E Invitational

We all had a great time in Boise this year. Thanks to the Planning Committee for putting together a great weekend and golf tournament. Mike was so proud to have won the mustard jacket that he even had to wear it at the movie theater. Thanks to Scott for serving up some delicious Snickel's Deli.

Falconry Show

The Air Force came to Brandon's Cub Scouts yesterday. They had an F-16 pilot bring his gear and talk about how cool it is to fly in and F-16. The highlight was supposed to be the Falconry show. A Air Force officer brought a falcon that all the boys could see, but we were all disappointed that he didn't even fly the bird. He said it was just a 'show bird' and that he couldn't fly it for us. At any rate, the kids did have a good time and it was cool to have them come and do the show for everyone. The Daily Herald was there and took this video of it :
